A moment captured beautifully.
I think it'd be nice to have a bold colour in the house. We keep to fairly soft pastels, however, I like the idea of splashing out in the bathroom - so to speak :D)Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15849036690807834080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-700826032924534249.post-90285047615452580222011-04-04T10:15:31.242-05:002011-04-04T10:15:31.242-05:00That is a great photo! When I try to be daring, I end up with a color I don't like. That is why our entry way is a flesh color. What was I thinking?! Every time this happens, I'm ready to go back to white or bone.
Sigh.

KathleenCooking in Mexicohttp://cookinginmexico.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-700826032924534249.post-60861459120657013782011-04-03T11:54:10.221-05:002011-04-03T11:54:10.221-05:00The bird in flight photo is great :-)The bird in flight photo is great :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-700826032924534249.post-77574889686838414592011-04-02T17:49:18.327-05:002011-04-02T17:49:18.327-05:00Ooo I love red paint!!! I'd have to say that I am very subdued when it comes to colour on the walls and opt for more neutral tones as our windows are tinted and it makes the rooms a little dim. However, the towels in my bathroom seem to be the same colour that you have painted on the walls. I would like to be a bit more adventurous with colour next time we need to paint.Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08295890728434904710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-700826032924534249.post-25250236270244320352011-04-02T02:39:47.257-05:002011-04-02T02:39:47.257-05:00Sounds fantastic. This is a room that is not used much because it is not heated or cooled due to the cost. Well, I decided to go dark and bold--Sherwin Williams Boticelli Red. It is much like the color in your picture. The only reason I could do this is because of the white double mantle firplace, white French doors, three other white doors, 10" baseboards, and 10" crown molding. The color and the abundant white was dramatic!

It was the hit of my Christmas party that year. I decorated exclusively with magnolia, nandina with its red berries, and white candles in glass candleholders.Practical Parsimonyhttp://www.practical-parsimony.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
