My dentist told me that baking soda was too abrasive for my teeth--"stop it." Yes, I was telling how I loved it and how white it made my teeth. But, I quit immediately. A nurse told me that peroxide can kill live tissue and to quit putting it on my gums.
Dentist said once a month was okay for baking soda. Nurse said just don't put it on my gums at all.
So, anyone else may have information to the contrary. I would just hate to see someone take all the internet information about baking soda and damage the enamel on their teeth or damage gums.
