Looks like this after grinding the first five ingredients in the food processor. If I didn't like olive oil, I'd stop here and spoon the stuff over pork chops or something else to bake! |
Feeling too lazy to cook tonight! What's for dinner over at your place?
That looks and sounds delicious. At my house? Alfredo sauce, tricolor rotini, and chicken...yum...romaine, radicchio, endive and tomato salad with Italian dressing. And, I should not buy jarred Alfredo sauce. We are bad people.
ReplyDeletePine nuts were over $5 for a tiny jar, so I decided I would find them cheaper or not make pesto. Maybe my pines have nuts? No, they don't.
I love all varieties of pesto and I am sure gonna try yours :) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteoh my, I love love sun dried tomatoes AND pesto. thats a perfect combination for me:) thanks!

This looks intriguing. I'm normally not a fan of sun dried tomato, but I might not mind it mixed in with pesto. You gotta love a recipe that involves throwing everything in the food processor and pushing a button.
ReplyDeletePS: We enjoy the frozen tilapia too.
I think that pesto would be really fantastic marinated on tofu and baked. I will have to try it when my basil gets bigger!
ReplyDeleteYum. After we dry some more tomatoes this harvest I am all over this recipe! And are there people out there that DON'T like olive oil!? I can't even imagine! : )
ReplyDelete*grin* hope you'll let me know what you think, if any of you get the chance to try this!!
ReplyDeleteThis looks so good! I have some basil I need to use so I'll see if I can remember to make this before I lose the basil.
