Striving to be more conscientious about using the earth's resources,to make this a better world, starting with me and my little piece of it.
It looked like a prison, but if he is happy... I have lived in 4000 sq ft for 35 years. No, it is not stuffed to the door tops. But, the mortage payment has been only $192/mth, so no reason to move.
I'm going to look at this video later. I just started to watch it but I have no idea how long it will be and the kids are screaming around me.However, I did hear him say that American's have three times the space as they did 50 years ago. So far, he is right. We live in a house that was built in the 1940s. We have four children in a 3 bedroom 1.5 bath house. Because I've gotten rid of tons of stuff, we are making this possible.Yes, I would love to move into something larger. At the same time, time will go quickly and before you know it, all my children will be grown and gone. Do I really want a McMansion? The answer is yes and no. Yes, for 6 years and then no for the next 40 or so.So yes, Less is more!Your Friend, m.
I love this guy!He makes so much sense and now I feel like editing and giving away more things. Thanks for this!m.
I love watching stuff like that too. When we were younger, I dreamed of a McMansion; now they just seem ostentatious and I dream of downsizing even our modestly sized home! Soo many of my tastes have changed through the years...good thing I never got a tattoo!! ;)
