Tickle the tastebuds and buoy the brain with Curried Orange Marmalade Cheese Spread

I know, I know, looks kinda like scrambled eggs in this pic.
Note to self: start using Hubby's camera for better close-up shots.
I about buried the orange marmalade but it's in there!
Loving this super easy cheese spread I discovered in A Year of Teas at the Elmwood Inn. The Inn uses the recipe for a Curry Tea Sandwich, but as I'm not in party mode, I opted for serving this curry powder, orange marmalade, shredded coconut, roasted peanuts, green onion and cream cheese spread on crackers. If these ingredients do anything for you, check out the link--the recipe couldn't be any simpler!
I used to not like curry powder, but since discovering that our brothers and sisters in India have an incredibly low incidence of Alzheimer's disease and that this has been attributed to their intake of curry and turmeric, I've used curry more. And have grown to love the stuff! Survival instinct maybe? ;)
Whatever the reason, I find more and more reasons to season with curry these days. Try it, you might like it, as they say!
May your weekend be filled with joy and good food. Namaste!

Okay, I am all over turmerica and curry like white on rice! My grandmother died of A. Curry is okay. It is just never in anything I want to make.

turmeric without and "a."

I just hid turmeric in pimiento cheese and Hubby didn't even mention it, so I guess it's not detectable! (I haven't tried it yet; I'll let you know!)

@Spicy, I wasn't sure...mostly about the peanuts in the combo, but I had all the ingredients, so I made it anyway. glad I did!
